A luxury Tuscan villa is enough to turn any normal vacation into the holiday of a life time, but with so many exciting options how do you choose the perfect one for you and the kind of holiday you are looking to have? The good news is that there is a villa for everyone and so you are sure to find your perfect match; you just need to think about a few things to help you make an informed decision. The right villa will enhance your holiday no end and may even save you a bit of money in the process.
Location –With any holiday destination location is always key but you have already made the right decision in wanting to visit the beautiful region of Tuscany. However, with so much on offer in the way of culture, art, history and architecture which part of the region do you make your temporary home?
This decision could depend heavily on whether you decide to rent a car or not. If this is part of the plan then you can easily choose a villa in the middle of the picturesque countryside and still travel to all the places you want to see, but if car rental is not on the cards then you may want to choose somewhere closer to the major cities or the airport at which you land.
Size –Our villas range from smaller ones that house up to four people to much larger ones that can sleep anything up to twenty seven holidaymakers. And although the larger options demand a higher price; when this is split between the number of guests that you will have staying with you it may work out cheaper the more people you invite.
The smaller villas are perfect for a peaceful and relaxing family holiday but if you are travelling with a substantial group of friends then you may well want more of your own space. Why not create a ‘the more the merrier’ atmosphere by inviting the whole family and keeping the price down in the process.
Facilities –The main question you need to ask yourself when deciding which facilities you require in your villa is how much time you are going to be spending there. If you are planning to fill every waking second of your holiday with sight-seeing and other fun adventures then you won’t be in your villa for too long and therefore won’t make much use of a swimming pool or a tennis court. However, if you are longing for a holiday which involves nothing more than simply lying next to your private pool and sipping on a cold drink then you may want to include as many of the luxury facilities that are available.
Other facilities on offer include saunas, hot tubs, internet access and onsite BBQs. Alternatively, you could go for the ultimate luxury experience and rent a Tuscan villa complete with house maid and cook. Villas with these added facilities will obviously be more expensive and so if you don’t think you’ll have time to use the internet or a sauna, or you don’t mind sharing a pool, then you could always save a bit of money and opt for a rental without these.
